NEC AICTE IDEA Lab

The NEC AICTE IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation & Application) Lab is established to encourage students to apply STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fundamentals through hands-on experience, experiential learning, and product visualization. These labs aim to foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty.

The IDEA Lab provides a vibrant platform for developing essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and design thinking. It also supports students in product development and prototyping, enabling them to transform ideas into practical solutions.

For the establishment of the NEC AICTE IDEA Lab, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has sanctioned a grant of ₹30 lakhs, which is matched by an equal contribution of ₹30 lakhs from the Management of National Engineering College (NEC), reflecting a strong institutional commitment to innovation and skill development.
