Quality Policy
NEC is committed to the culture of quality through the process of continuous monitoring and improvement by developing a student-centric approach that provides a conducive teaching-learning and research environment with the ambience of creativity, wisdom and team spirit to orient the talents of students with human values for making a positive contribution to society.
Objectives
To develop a quality system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the academic, research and administrative performance of the Institution.
To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

Functions
Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices.
Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
Organization of inter and intra-institutional workshops, seminars on quality-related themes and promotion of quality circles.
Documentation of the various programs/activities leading to quality improvement.
Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
Development and maintenance of institutional database to maintain/enhance the institutional quality.
Development of Quality Culture in the institution.
Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC.
IQAC MEETING MINUTES
IQAC of National Engineering College meets regularly once in four months and takes up issues related to quality as envisaged by NAAC. The proceedings are documented and it is given online.
