Library
Central Library which acts as a knowledge hub for the academic activities of our institution with a mission to provide knowledge gateway to the user community with the state of the art technologies.
The Central Library provides excellent library facilities for all the students and faculty members, such as sufficient books, proper seating and reading facility, proper classification and arrangement of books, an attractive fully air-conditioned modern Library building with high-speed wi-fi connectivity and Web OPAC etc.
Open Access System is followed. In addition to the well-stocked departmental Library, each department has its Library to facilitate easy access to the Faculty, Students and Research Scholars.
The Central Library is kept open throughout the year except for Government Holidays (Weekdays 08.30 a.m. to 07.30 p.m. and Sundays 09.30 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.)
BANKING FACILITIES
The Indian Overseas Bank has a branch in our college premises, that works for six days in a week (Monday to Saturday). The working hours are 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on week days and odd Saturdays.
ATM
Two ATMs are housed – one located behind the Administrative Block and the other is near the bank, serving for the benefit of all the students and employees of this institution.
STORE
To meet the stationary requirements like note books, prescribed books and instruments, of the students and faculty, our college store functions from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Quality materials are sold at nominal rates.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation facility for students and faculty from various districts around Kovilpatti is provided. For safety and convenience, thirty buses are functioning.
POST OFFICE
The in-campus Post Office, K. Ramasamy Nagar, is the hub for mail transaction facilitating the hostellers and mail drop – box for other academic related mail transmit.
HOSTEL: GENTS HOSTEL
Two men’s hostel provide residence for around 800 boys with sophisticated dining halls. Besides basic facilities, recreation halls with Gym and indoor games along with DTH and home theater facilities were provided. Separate computer center with full time internet access are also maintained to aid the inmates.
LADIES HOSTEL
The hostel accommodates around 900 students with hygienic Mess facilities. Besides basic provisions, recreation halls with Gym and indoor games along with DTH and home theater facilities were also provided. Two computer centers with full time internet access and a library function to aid the inmates.
CAFETARIA
The campus has food points at four different places providing all types of snacks, meals, fresh juice and beverages. The Canteen always deserves to cater the south Indian delicious food items in a wide enough space. It can accommodate more than 320 persons at a time. In addition to delectable Tiffin items, uncountable snacks items, juices, Ice-creams, coffee and are also available, all these are served with grace to nourish the soul.
Canteen is always commendable for creating a home like environment. Numerous Varieties are served at all times. The daysscholars students always pay much interest in canteen foods. Students here are enjoying hygienic food with furnished dining halls.
HEALTH CARE
Free medical assistance is given to all the employees and students of this institution. The health care of the students is ensured by the regular visit of experienced doctor and two full time nurses.
Medical officers and Staff Nurse are available in the Campus to take care of students
