Foreign Language Programmes
With a vision to nurture globally competent graduates, the Department of Science and Humanities, National Engineering College, offers Japanese and German language programmes that equip students with the linguistic proficiency and intercultural competencies essential for global careers and higher education.
Japanese Language Programme
The Japanese Language Programme offers training in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N5 and N4 levels through a hybrid mode, combining online and in-person learning. The programme enables students to develop effective communication skills while gaining insights into Japanese culture, work ethics, and professional practices. It prepares learners for internationally recognized JLPT certification and creates pathways to employment with Japanese industries, international collaborations, and higher education opportunities.
German Language Programme
The German Language Programme (A1 Level) is designed for students aspiring to pursue higher education and research opportunities in Germany. The course provides a strong foundation in German language proficiency and cultural awareness, empowering students to thrive in international academic and professional environments.
Through these foreign language initiatives, National Engineering College continues to strengthen its commitment to internationalization by fostering multilingual competence, cross-cultural understanding, and global career readiness among its students.
