GATE Test Series

The Department of Science and Humanities successfully organized a Weekly GATE Test Series for first-year students during the academic year as part of its continuous efforts to strengthen students’ aptitude and competitive examination skills.

The tests were conducted every Saturday, providing students with regular practice and assessment in key areas of the GATE examination. The test series covered Verbal Ability, General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and Core Engineering subjects, helping students build a strong foundation from their first year itself.

During the Odd Semester, a total of 11 tests were conducted, each carrying 30 marks. In the Even Semester, 9 tests were conducted, each for 40 marks. Around 150 first-year students actively participated in the test series throughout the academic year.

The weekly assessments encouraged students to develop problem-solving skills, improve time management, and gain confidence in tackling competitive examinations. Regular evaluation and consistent practice enabled students to monitor their progress and identify areas for improvement.
