This laboratory is to strengthen the students knowledge with an adequate work experience in the area of measurement of various parameters and also helps to expertise in handling the instruments. We have state-of-the-art instruments in this laboratory in order to enhance the professional ideas of the students and research scholars in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Analytical Instrumentation, Industrial Instrumentation and Virtual Instrumentation systems.
The practical courses such as Transducers and Measurements lab and Industrial Instrumentation lab are being conducted in this laboratory. The lab is equipped with the following major instruments.
- Student physiograph – testing, monitoring and analysis of ECG, EEG, GSR and Respiratory signals
